Policy Analyst France

Rohde Public Policy is currently looking for an analyst/consultant to join our team, who would be based in our new office to be opened in Paris in early 2011. We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated person who is capable of finding their way through the political system in Paris with an analytical mind and creative approach.

This position will involve:

• Close monitoring and analysis of political developments in the Assemblée Nationale and throughout Fance, it sregions and development of these findings in value for our clients
• Working on our projects in France, and contributing to projects ongoing in our existing offices in Brussels, Berlin and London
• Contributing to Rohde Public Policy’s growing political network in Paris
• Working closely, both remotely and in person, with our consultants in Brussels, Berlin and London
• Supporting the opening and running of the office

This position will require the following attributes:

• Experience of working within the French Parliament or civil service for at least one year
• Excellent knowledge of the French political system, with understanding of its processes and working norms
• A good network of political contacts
• An analytical mind and good political judgement
• Ability to contribute to Rohde Public Policy’s excellent working environment with a vibrant personality and considerate manner
• Highest ability to work in teams is a must and the candidate is expected to contribute to a friendly office atmosphere
• Excellent written and spoken French and English , with knowledge of other languages considered a significant attribute
