Policy Analyst Germany

Rohde Public Policy is currently looking for a policy analyst to join our team in Berlin. We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated person who is capable of understanding and analysing political developments and the political system at both federal and state level with an analytical mind and creative approach.

Experience of working within the Parliament (federal or state) or civil service for at least one year is explicitly required. A sound understanding of the German health care system and regulation would be considered a valuable asset.

This position will involve:

• Close monitoring and analysis of political developments in the Bundestag and throughout Germany and development of these findings in value for our clients
• Working on our projects in Berlin
• Contributing to Rohde Public Policy’s growing political network in Berlin
• Working closely, both remotely and in person, with our consultants in Brussels and London

This position will require the following attributes:

• Excellent knowledge of the federal political system, with understanding of its processes and working norms
• An analytical mind and good political judgement
• A good network of political contacts and the ability to expand it
• Ability to contribute to Rohde Public Policy’s excellent working environment with a vibrant personality and considerate manner
• Native German speaker with very good knowledge of English (second working language).
