Consultancy Experience
Steve joined Rohde Public Policy in 2006. He has a strong background in the areas of European Union public policy, communications and strategy and an excellent knowledge of issues within the health policy community of Brussels and Strasburg and the United Kingdom. He is also experienced in the areas of employment and social affairs, international trade and economy and EU budgets and UK health policy.
Before joining Rohde Public Policy, Steve has worked with the Siemens Group and Reebok in the UK.
Policy Experience
Steve is a specialist in the field of health technologies, pharmaceuticals, biologicals including substances of human origin, such as organs, cells and tissues, plasma and blood. He is also an expert on political developments in health care in the UK. Steve develops, manages and implements strategies and projects at the level of the European Union institutions and the political and other relevant institutions in the United Kingdom.
Academia
Steve holds a BSC degree in Marketing from Lancaster University, and a Masters in European Politics from the University of Leeds. He has also studied US politics, economics, management science and accounting and finance during his time at University. His thesis on the UK Conservative’s party status in the European Parliament, written in 2006 (including research interviews with a number of MEPs), enabled a keen understanding of European party politics that has been further refined during his time with Rohde Public Policy.
